Recently, when I slip on my headphones and play some 80's J-Pop melodies, it's as though a weight is magically lifted from my shoulders. Regardless of my current mood, be it happy or sad, after a few songs I find myself skipping down the sidewalk as if I were an '80s pop sensation stepping onto the stage.
As an English speaker, I often struggle to understand most of the lyrics. Nevertheless, I'm irresistibly drawn into the captivating instrumentals and the ethereal quality of the singers' voices, all mixing together to create a dreamy city-pop vibe. Inspired by the positivity these songs bring me, I decided to write a post and share with my readers some of the songs on my J-Pop playlist that make me smile!
