Easy 4-Ingredient Strawberry Crumble Recipe

ree

While WWOOFing in California, I missed the luxury of cooking in my own kitchen. All I had at my trailer setup, (which was pretty souped up) was a fridge, a hot plate, and a toaster oven. With limited cookware, outlets, and ingredients I had to think out of the box for meals. Which for me, made each cooking experience a fun challenge to be mastered.

This recipe came about because I love sweets, and I especially love sweets late at night. That is why I came up with this quick 4-ingredient strawberry crumble you can whip up in the most limited kitchen.

The measurements in this recipe can be altered in anyway you'd like, the desert is quick, easy, and cuztomizable so you can feel free to make it your own!

1. Strawberry Filling

- Thaw the frozen strawberries and mix them with a bit of sugar (to taste) for sweetness.

- You can mash them slightly if you prefer a softer texture.

2. Crumble Topping

- In a bowl, mix oats, a little sugar, and melted butter. I just used a package of Quakers Oatmeal

3. Assembly and Baking

- Place the sweetened strawberries in a baking dish.

- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the strawberries.

- Bake in a preheated oven at around 350°F (175°C) until the topping is golden brown, which should take about 20-30 minutes.

4. Serving

- Let it cool a bit and then serve it warm, optionally with a dollop of cream on top for extra richness.

Enjoy your homemade strawberry crumble!
